Dark & Dramatic Black, brown, bronzey, gold tutorial

List of products used :
Urban Decay Primer Potion - original
NYX jumbo pencil - black bean
NYX single shadow - black
Coastal Scents 88 palette - chocolate brown shadow
NYX single shadow - Golden
MAC shadow - Rice Paper
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Pencil - Zero
Revlon colorstay liquid eye pen - blackest black (optional)
Revlon Grow Luscious mascara

Face & Lips:
The Balm bronzer - Bahama Mama (contouring)
The Balm blush - Down boy
Annabelle lipliner - Demure
Revlon matte lipstick - nearly nude
Annabelle gloss - clear
Step by step tutorial:
EYES
1) Always prime your eyelid
2) apply black bean jumbo pencil on the bottom half of you lid and 3/4 of the way in. Using your ring finger blend the black base to the crease and inner corner of your eyelid.
3) apply NYX black shadow with a shader brush all over the black, then blend with a fluffy brush at the edge, & in the crease area, so there's a nice fade effect.
4) Take another shader brush with the chocolate brown shadow and apply all over the lid up to the crease.
5) Take a crease/fluffy brush and apply NYX godlen shadow in soft sweeping motions in the crease. Blend well with the lid color.
4) Apply your fave highlight color ( I used MAC ricepaper shadow), right underneath your brow.
5) Take Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero and line your waterline and lower lashline, blend with ring finger.
6) Apply NYX black and golden with a small shader brush or pencil brush, which ever you choose.
7) OPTIONAL - Line your upper lid with Revlon colorstay liquid eye pen in Blackest Black. You can also use whatever black liner you have or even dark dark brown liner.
8) Next curl your lahes and apply mascara, I used Revlon Grow Luscious mascara.
FACE & LIPS
1) contour your cheek bones, temples, and jaw line using your favorinte bronzer, I used The Balm, Bahama Mama.
2) Apply your blush. For this type of dark dramatic look you want to go subtle on the rest of the face. For blush, try to use something very sublte, or just use a light bronzer, or even nothing at all. I used a pale pink blush by The Balm, Down Boy.
3) Line your lips with Annabelle Demune lipliner and blot any excess off with a tissue. This will create a great base for your lip color.
4) Now apply one coat of Revlon Nearly Nude lipstick and blot. Apply a second coat and blot again. This will ensure maximum coverage for the longest possible time.
5) Now apply Annabelle clear gloss, or your favourite nude gloss and you're done!

Show & Tell featuring: NYX, etc. .

I sort of went crazy one day and bought all this makeup. I have been looking for the maybelline palettes for a while and the main reason I bought them was because I wanted them so bad and because I knew I was going to have a hard time finding them again.
I went crazy on NYX stuff because there's only one place in Vancouver that sells NYX and I rarely go there.

So here are the pictures as promised :

Nyx single eyeshadows:
Olive green, black, luxor, midnight, tropical, africa, sunrise & white

These eyeshadows are amazingly pigmented. They blend easy and are extremely inexpensive,
they are $4.99 each.

These are the NYX trio shadows:
The blue one is called Aquamarine, and it has 3 beautiful shades of blue.
The purple one doesn't have a name but the eyeshadows are called Prune, deep purple, and purple.
I will definitely be doing a summer look with these trios! !
These are $9.99 each

These shadows are called NYX pearl Mania (i think)
The website says Loose Pearl Powder
These are called : Orange Zest, Mink, and Lilac
the pigment shadows are $4.99 each

These are the Jumbo Eye Pencils and Eye/Eyebrow pencils I got as well. It says on the pencils that they can double as eyeliners and eyebrow pencils but these colors aren't natural colors so they can't be used on brows. They can be but it would look a little crazy.
The Jumbo eye pencils are Lilac, Slate, Strawberry Milk, and Pacific.
The eyeliners are Teal, and Purple
These are $4.99 each and the eyeliners are $3.99 each

Sorry that this pictures is sideways, I was going to flip it but then the quality of the pictures would've changed and I didn't want that.
So, these are the Rimmel eyeshadows I got.
The three single shadows are called Siren, Envy, and Tempted, and these are $4.99 each
The trio is Dark Angel, and it was $7.99
and the Quads are Urban Flower, and Sweet Smoulder, these are $9.99 each

These maybelline palettes are absolutely amazing! !
There are a lot of MAC dupes in these palettes, so I definitely recommend these.
There are 4, however I couldn't find the 4th one.
These are: Hushed Tints, Twilight Rays, and Sunbaked Neutrals.
These were $11.99
NYC Metro Quartet Eyeshadow Quads.
These NYC quads are great! They come with little plastic covers inside that tell you what shadow goes where. They are gorgeous and highly pigmented. Easy to travel with, they fit in any purse or bag, and the colors are amazing too. Great neutral tones! !
These two are Union Square and Chelsea Chic
$3.99 each

L'Oreal Metallic Shadow HIP Duo: Sculpted:
I got this one because it was requested a lot in my giveaway and I wanted to see my everybody liked it so much, so when I saw it and realized it was purple colors, GORGEOUS purple colors I had to have it! the HIP duos are $8.99 each.
The Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen in Blackest Black. This liquid pen is so awesome! It has the nice finish that liquid liner has but it's not complicated or hard to use. If you want to try a liquid liner but thinks that it's a bit difficult this is definitely the way to go! It's like a liquid eye liner pencil! !
This was $11.99

Thanks for watching guys! ! Make sure to stay tuned for the 2 series that I have coming up next month! Lots of exciting stuff to start the summer off with.

An Introduction

I just wanted to take some time to introduce myself. I didn't want to do it on Youtube because I don't feel like I would have enough time for that kind of video.

Just briefly- - I am a 21 year old female. I have a baby girl (11 months old), and I am getting married in August. woohoo! I can't wait. I have the most amazing fiance. I am so much in love, since the day I met him, 5 years ago.

I have been watching videos and gurus on Youtube for about 5 months now and I finally decided to start my own channel. I have been interested in makeup and fashion and beauty in general since I was about 12 or 13. My older sister is really into beauty as well and she has become a makeup artist/hair dresser, so I got a lot of my inspiration and ideas from her.

Right now I am using mostly affordable makeup and what-not, just because I am planning a wedding and supporting a baby, and makeup and such isn't exactly on the top of my list of priorities, but I'll do what I can with what I've got. Who can afford to buy every single product from MAC anyway? Realistically?!
Anyway, so aside from the wedding and my daughter I am trying to slowly build up my collection from MAC, Nars, Urban Decay, Smashbox, etc.

So basically, for now I'll be doing mostly affordable makeup looks, hair products, clothing & accessories.

So, thanks for watching my videos, and taking the time to see my blog.
I hope you enjoyed it!

I'll see you all in my next video!
